How does MAGENTO STOCK IMPORT work?

To access the Magento stock import feature, we need to navigate to the Stock Manager Dashboard. There is a Quick Import option, where we select the supplier and upload the stock data sheet.

The system supports CSV, TXT, and XML file formats. It includes a file parsing system that allows us to use these formats, parsing the data and storing it according to system requirements.

If the file is not in the correct format, the system will provide an option to parse and convert it into a usable format.

After completing the file upload, we can schedule the import process.

A CRON job will handle this import task, automating the stock update by directly connecting the system to the Magento database and importing the stock data.

There is also an option to revert the import. Since the system creates a backup of the stock tables, it is possible to revert to the previous stock levels if needed.
